Advanced Data Insight Analyst II (Partner Marketing) – Expedia Group – Genf, GE

What you will do:

  • Craft digital tracking strategy to build a rich, concise core dataset for all marketing channels (paid & non-paid).

  • Drive channel return on investment efficiency through testing, optimization and attribution modeling

  • Extract data from multiple data sources and combine them into the required datasets for model building or analytics.

  • Conduct hypotheses testing and design complex experiments.

  • Apply common statistical methods such as linear and non-linear regression, multivariate analysis to interpret results.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of functional technical information (e.g. user flows, technical system design and workflows).

  • Become knowledgeable in EG visualization tools, creating complex calculations using advanced features.

  • Communicate across various levels of the organization tailoring your messaging to that audience filtering relevant information.

  • Clearly and confidently articulate decision-making rationale, solutions, methodologies and frameworks to team members and both technical and non-technical partners.

  • Write code in a way that enables efficient and accurate translation into a data pipeline.

  • Frame business challenges as an analytics problem and concrete set of analytical tasks.


Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD or Equivalent Experience; Mathematics, Science, Statistics or Technical degree preferred otherwise relevant experience is applicable.

  • Proven experience in a digital marketing analytics (3-5 years)

  • Strong command of Google Analytics (and/or other clickstream solutions), custom tracking solutions, conversion events, standardized UTM structures, tag management, etc.

  • Hands on analytics experience with paid campaigns, email marketing, content management, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio a plus.

  • Intermediate SQL knowledge, familiar with Python, Scala or R, or any other major ML programming language

  • Display strong domain knowledge, business sense and critical reasoning skills.
