Digital & Social Marketing intern Wella Retail
As Digital & Social Marketing intern, you will primarily lead the implementation of Wella Retail Digital and Social strategy across the digital platforms : Website, Social media, Search. The role will be based in Geneva and report into the Global Senior Marketing Manager for Digital & Ecommerce.
You will be a key marketing partner focused on building our brands’ awareness and affinity through digital, social media, and content marketing – you will also support the conceptualization, development and initialization of new strategies, and new technologies. You will be responsible of tracking the global and local performance of Wella digital and Social campaigns
You should be passionate about beauty and technologies, and willing to work in a fast paced environment, as well as in virtual settings with colleagues from around the world, from different cultures and in different time zones.
Lead the implementation of our digital and social media content strategy.
Attract new users by developing deliberate content marketing, content development and content distribution strategies. Determining the right mix and sources for owned, co-created and user-generated content.
Define the annual global content calendar across all our social channels and identify key promotional opportunities throughout the season.
Partner with Influencer Marketing to develop strong social media influencer partnerships and ensure working with social influencers is seamlessly integrated into our work flows.
Lead the development and set up of KPIs and ongoing tracking.
Track & Communicate digital marketing performance against KPIs on a global level and propose recommendations to improve results.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree is required, in the area of digital marketing, business or similar relevant area.
Proficient and up-to-date knowledge of key social media platforms and best practice.
Comfortable with Adobe & social media analytics.
A good understanding of SEM, SEO, Display and Affiliate Marketing.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Self-starter, used to working independently.
Mother tongue or professional fluency in English required. Additional languages, in particular Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish or Arabic are a plus.
You should be able to showcase your eye for beauty, aesthetics and design.
Strategic thinker with an ability to dissect problems and identify solutions.
Digitally savvy, active on social media and highly curious about new digital trends.
