Your mission:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President Global Manufacturing Network (GMN) and as a member of the GMN Leadership Team, you will ensure the TechOps network of sites (including third-party manufacturers) is functioning as a world-class manufacturing and supply organization, driving related initiatives and ensuring execution/implementation via an efficient and aligned Governance and Performance management infrastructure.
Main responsibilities:
Network strategy definition and execution facilitating the definition of the network’s long & mid-term vision, as well as the strategy to achieve it.
Site network governance development and execution covering both the management of the day-to-day of the business operations (Quality Council, EHS, S&OP, Network Performance, Site business reviews, etc…) as well as more strategic aspects (Portfolio Review Boards, Investment committees, CAPEX review meetings, Network capacity review). Provide the network with the adequate digital tools for easing information sharing and decisions tracking
Network Capacity Management & planning providing standard capacity available visibility across the network. Along with the supply chain teams, regularly review the network capacity utilization triggering reallocation of volumes from site-to-site and generating inputs for CAPEX investment plans, activation of CMOs and composition of project portfolio to deliver the site network strategy and ambition
Network key capabilities building facilitating the definition of the common key capabilities to be developed in the network to achieve its vision and ambition. Liaising with the relevant function to create capability building plans (training materials, coaching structure, deployment strategy), executing and following-up the expected impact on the network’s performance
Portfolio & Program Management of cross-sites strategic initiatives directly managing and leading both portfolio and programs (Engineering, Digital, Efficiency, etc…)
Support to the sites for issues affecting the network centralizing the manufacturing issues (through the escalation process), ensures proper definition and decomposition, facilitates their prioritization and liaises with support functions to allocate adequate resources to their resolution in a timely manner
Driving the Global Operational Excellence strategy definition, yearly roadmaps definition in alignment with global, and following-up on its execution. As a matrix manager of the site OpEx Leads, providing the overall functional direction of the Global OpEx roadmap on the 3 following pillars:
Increasing TechOps Lean maturity
Building relevant Lean Six Sigma capability
Delivering value for the business
Required Experience & Competences:
Minimum of 15-year experience in leadership of Operations/Operational Excellence in Chemical/Life science/Biotech industry/Pharma
Master degree in Life Science or Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmacy
O utstanding Project Management
Excellent Technical knowledge with demonstrated ability to deliver safe, effective and fully compliant projects
Lean expertise – Black Belt Certified
Change management
Fluent English
Ability to travel up to 30%
