Eurovision Sports exists to serve our member organisations. Based on member needs we manage and develop the acquisition and sales of sports rights deals, ensuring we provide a highly efficient and commercially strong range of services.

Eurovision Sport is looking for a

Director of Acquisitions

Reporting to the Executive Director of Eurovision Sport, the Director of Acquisitions manages the acquisition team and the rights portfolio.

He/She advises the Executive Director on potential acquisitions, devises negotiation strategies, is responsible for the planning and implementation of successful negotiations processes and the associated business plans.

He/she is responsible for a complex range of relationships with members, rightsholders and commercial partners and is responsible for the implementation of the acquisitions strategy.

Specific qualifications, skills and experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree, subject: Business or MBA

Languages: Excellent written and spoken English and French. Other language a plus.

  • Project management experience and certification
  • Interest and knowledge of sports events
  • Understanding of sports rights management
  • Knowledge/background in the sports media rights industry, preferably on major events.
  • Intensive work period before and during staging of major events.
  • Able to work in fast paced environment.
