ORGANIZATIONAL SETTING

This position is located in the Financial Management Office within the Division of Programme

Support. The Financial Management Section is responsible for managing the accounting, financial

and budgetary operations of regular and extra budgetary resources entrusted to ITC, in accordance

with the Financial Regulations and Rules of the United Nations to support the delivery of ITC’s

programme of work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Within delegated authority, under the direct supervision of the Senior Budget Officer and the overall

guidance of the Chief, Financial Management, the incumbents will be responsible for:

Budget and Finance

– Providing support with respect to the review, analysis and preparation of regular budget and

extra-budgetary proposals and revisions.

  • Preparing supporting documents (narrative and supporting tables) with respect to finalization of

cost estimates and budget proposals, in terms of staff and non-staff requirements.
