About the Role:

As the Global Head of Responsible Sourcing you will position Givaudan as the recognized industry leader in responsible sourcing by developing RS strategies and associated tactical plan. You will establish due diligence processes for key supply chains with recognized 3rd party frameworks and also Drive key categories strategic evolutions with stakeholders (commercial, Operations, Procurement etc)

Your responsibilities includes:

  • Strategy Development

Develop the Givaudan RS strategy/business case: including scope, fulfilment criteria, long term targets, cost/benefit, resources and implementation plan
Ensure organizational alignment for end to end approach on responsible sourcing practices
Ensure customer requirements are met and included in our approach

  • Program Management

Drive commercial organization to leverage Givaudan’s responsible sourcing program as a competitive advantage vs. competition
Continuously and effectively communicate and train the relevant functions from source to sales
Provide support to category managers when implementing their initiatives
Manage cost vs. budget and keep track of the benefits (e.g. new business generation)
Ensure progress and achievement of annual targets and final aspiration
Engage with external instances (AIM Progress, NRSC,…), liaise with NGO’s
Champion responsible sourcing in the organization
Be the liaison for 3rd party auditing activities
Drive strategic evolution of key commodities (palm oil, coconut oil etc)

  • People Management

Build and develop RS implementation manager supported by proper development planning

Your professional profile includes:

  • 10+ years of experience in Procurement/Sustainability and/or functional experience
  • Knowledge of industries with complex supply chains
  • International exposure in previous roles
  • Experience in developing strategies and tactical implementation plans in the area of responsible sourcing
  • People management experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to engage with people in all different levels of the organization and function, listening to their needs and translate it into the program strategy
  • Ability to motivate and engage others
  • Cultural awareness and adaptable to fast changing business requirements
  • Passion for success with a high energy level
  • Experience in certifications such as RSPO, Ecocert, UEBT…
  • Knowledge of CDP forest
