LEAD BUYER

Temporary Position – 4 months

100% – Geneva

1. Manage the strategic sourcing process for projects and designated category:

  • Lead and / or support the strategic sourcing initiatives applying best practice sourcing process.
  • Ensure representation of procurement within cross-functional teams and steering committees.
  • Ensure internal and external audit compliance.

2. Identify, mitigate and manage risks during the contract cycle (Build and Run phases):

  • Ensure the company terms and conditions prevail during RFx process.
  • Ensure appropriate company’ standard contracts are used.
  • Ensure contracts are reviewed and validated by the company internal legal advisor.
  • Manage contract implementation and follow up (SLAs etc.).

3. Manage relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers:

  • Develop and manage supplier relationships as per suppliers’ tier categorization.
  • Monitor and report supplier performance.
  • Develop and manage stakeholders’ plans to understand and support stakeholders’ objectives and expectations.

4. Ensure full compliance of the company’s departments, divisions and units towards procurement guidelines:

  • Support and communicate procurement guidelines to stakeholders.
  • Participate to key stakeholders’ internal meetings.
  • Masters degree in international procurement or equivalent
  • Fluent in English and French
  • 8 – 10 years’ professional experience, in procurement (category management, SRM and contract management)
  • Proficiency in the strategic sourcing process and enterprise resource planning systems (JDE, an asset)
  • Solid experience in working with IT services’ category
  • Project-management experience required
  • Experience working on large, cross-cutting projects and in an international environment
