Our Medical Affairs team in Meyrin, Geneva, is searching for a Medical Affairs Manager to support with increasing projects related to the Infectious Disease portfolio. We are seeking a Medical Affairs Manager to help with operational Medical Affairs activities for two key products until the end of 2020. In this temporary position, you will report into the Medical Affairs Lead, Infectious Diseases. Your tasks and activities will include the following:

  • Take full ownership of all Medical Affairs operational activities for one of our Infectious Disease products including Investigated Initiated Study (IIS) activities, disease awareness programs, management of scientific and educational materials
  • Support with literature review, comments, drafting of new documents for regulatory and pharmacovigilance purposes, as well as for IIS discussions for both products
  • Provide support to the Medical Lead for the preparation of medical deliverables and events (e.g. symposia, advisory boards, on-line events), working in collaboration with medical communication agencies
  • Collaborate with the Medical Lead and Marketing team for internal meetings, training preparation and conduct including slide decks, presentations and post-meeting reports
  • Support KOL mapping, engagement and management activities
  • With the support of the Medical Lead, support Publications activities including coordinating authors and medical writers on manuscript preparation for publication purposes
  • Active project management of assigned deliverables in line with the Global Operational Brand Plan and in agreement with the Medical Lead
  • Lead other assigned projects in the area of Infectious Diseases under the Medical Lead supervision and in collaboration with marketing and regional colleagues

The ideal candidate is holding a higher degree (e.g. Masters/PhD) in a Scientific or Medical field in additional to the following experience:

  • Broad experience in operational Medical Affairs activities including literature review, IIS management, disease awareness programs
  • Experience working at a local or global pharmaceutical company
  • Experience working in a multicultural, matrix environment
  • Flexible and proactive working style
  • Fluency in English, French or Spanish language skills will be beneficial
