We are looking for a Payment Agent to join our Operations department


Purpose and Mission

To be responsible for processing payments, applying payments to customer accounts.


Main tasks

  • Treatment of incoming and outgoing foreign and domestic payments (PSP, E-banking, SWIFT, SIC, EUROSIC, …)
  • Check of formal correctness of payments
  • Control and authorization of electronic funds transfers through internal banking application
  • Ensuring all failed transfers are duly documented with appropriate reasons for delay or rejection
  • Investigating and resolving all outstanding payment issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable rules (internal and external) in the service and bank
  • Management and treatment of pending transactions in collaboration with other services
  • Documentation of processes and exceptions


Skills & Qualifications

  • Banking or commercial training (Swiss Federal Brevet as a minimum, bachelor’s degree an asset)
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Proactive and able to take initiatives
  • Ability to work independently, to take informed decisions and determine priorities
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Swiss domiciliation required
