Sales Administration Specialist (Maternity Cover – 6 Months contract)

We are looking for a Sales Administration Specialist for a maternity cover based in our European HQ in Geneva. Starting from July 2020 until end of January 2021.

You will be in charge of coordinating the Sell Thru data for Europe Wholesale Business and the IIC (Intersport International) analyst. You will also support the Category Sales Manager in Sales Analysis and Quarterly Business Reviews. You will be responsible for supervising and executing the internal coordination process of commercial contracts.


Sell Thru Data (55%) :

  • Centralize the sell-thru data via the sales force in different countries in order to compile a European trend analysis report.
  • Monitor the execution of program defined together with Sales Management such as number of accounts providing reports by brand by country.
  • Act as the contact person for SPS in Europe and the US team responsible for this activity.

Category Sales Analysis (25%)

  • Support the Columbia CSM with the Quarterly Business Reviews and ad-hoc sales analysis (trends, historical data comparison, special initiatives…). Work with the Merchants team to build and be responsible for the seasonal line list database and dashboard.

IIC analyst (10%)

  • Work directly with the IIC contacts to provide: Europe direct wholesale business with IIC for seasonal forecasts (initial + final); fiscal report including distributor numbers by category
  • Frame Deal elaboration in-hand with IIC lead, Sales and Merchants.

Commercial Contracts (5%)

  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Credit, Customer Service, etc.) to ensure compliance with customer contracts.

Other : Close-Out Coordination & Content Hub validation for Europe (5%)

  • Set up the seasonal waves for close-out sales / Send the close-out lists to the sales force
  • Audit the content hub access requests for customers (Columbia + Sorel)

  • Able to read, write, and speak English is a must. Being fluent in French and/or German is a strong asset.


  • A University-level degree in Business or related field OR work experience equivalent to degree.
  • A Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales analysis and working knowledge of apparel and/or footwear industries.
  • Experience using order management systems and working with product pricing and inventory is strongly preferred.
  • A Very good knowledge of Excel (VlookUp, Pivot, Sumifs are a must)
  • An Experience with PowerBI is a plus
