Strategic Market Insights Manager – Hach – Genf, GE

About this role:
Are you looking for a position where you can combine Market Intelligence to develop market and customer segmentation that directly influences the organization? The Strategic Market Insights Manager is a key member of the Market Intelligence team within the Product Strategy organization. This role is focused on deriving insights through market segmentation and competitive analysis to implement a strategy on business, marketing and product decisions.

You will collaborate with decision makers in our marketing, digital, sales and new product development organizations.

Build clear and compelling market research storylines

Translate questions/requests from diverse teams (product, tech, marketing) into testable hypotheses and research designs

Develop and drive standard work implementation for market/customer segmentation and competitive analysis

Analyze competition along with the industry and build an effective collection, storage and retrieval of competitive intelligence to protect and expand Hach’s market share

Support the identification and development of new market research capabilities around new sources and accessibility of data, integration of new technology, and the adoption of state of the art methods/approaches

Are you qualified

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other Marketing advanced degree desired

5+ years of work experience; Business Intelligence/Data or Analytics experience preferred

Ability to establish credibility and trust internally with all levels of the organization and externally with customers

Ability to work effectively in a global environment

Knowledge of the marketplace, customer applications, and use of water analytic products is a plus
